Notes:
The Gifts of the
Magi is a real singers' show and as such, needs a strong Musical Director.
We are fortunate to have the gifted Aurora Marin as our Musical Director,
and grateful for the back-up from her husband, Jeremy Poetker. What they do
is amazing.
Those who saw the summer musical will recognize a very special and talented
dancer, singer, choreographer and actress, Elizabeth M. Desotelle (Beth).
Her contribution to this show extends beyond the usual choreographer's role
in that she very graciously stepped into the role of the New York Her just
a week before opening and spent all of her Thanksgiving holiday studying lines
and music. We deeply regret that Debbie Olson (from Rochester) had to step
out of the role due to a knee injury.
And so, the show must go on. Special kudos to the talented actors and staff
who "stir Christmas on the stage" for your enjoyment.
